But the locals I know tells me a different story.
Germany isn’t where I’m living. My 0.1% of unsafe zones probably refers to certain areas in some major cities, which would confirm your "friends" view. That’s not an exception, though. You’ll find those kinds of areas in almost every big city in the world.
The way I see it, either Russia’s economy will tapple or Western support will. The West is trying to apply economic pressure, while Russia is actively destabilizing governments through disinformation campaigns (pushing any migration related incident is good leverage) on social media and by funding certain political movements.
That’s the situation as I see it. I’m not going into detail or forecasting anything because I lack the knowledge and expertise.
