I pay for a 1 gigabit network (1000 mbps) and uses a cat7 gold plated cable direct to my gaming computer. But i only receive 356 mbps when speedtesting
The router entrance gets 950-980 mbps stable (when using UI to verify speed in my admin settings) so the speed enters the router, but is lost or something off in-between

Any tips on repairing this ? my cell phones using 5ghz band all shows 900 mbps on test. I did test on wi-fi the computer instead and still the same its even worse than 356 (gives about 200-250 mbps)

1Gbit throughput must adhere to:

1. ISP to Modem (should not have issue since I guess modem is suppplied by yr ISP)
2. Modem to Router via at least a Cat6 1Gbit patch cord and must be plugged into the correct 1Gbit port
3. Router to PC Network Adapter via at least a Cat6 1Gbit patch cord (Network Adapter must support 1Gbit throuhput)

If above is satisfied, goto Network properties and view Ethernet Status under Connection (should show Speed at 1.0Gbps)

If it is not at 1.0Gbps, can u say which Network Adapter u got?

Yes everything is met, using cat7 cables all over. Lemme verify the network adapter

Ah, so it is at 1.0Gbps(1000Mbps)

I suggest tweaking to the network adapter, follow this : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4tMBS3Wy8A

Good luck.

Yes its detecting and working as normal, but only shows 320-360 mbps during a speedtest network.

And it's why I suggested tweaking it, follow this : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4tMBS3Wy8A

Great place for a speed test.
Keep in mind Cellphones & laptops, and some older desktops may not support up to 1GB Speeds, due to lack of hardware support.
Such as Outdated storage Hardware ect.
