Ach, i really can't wait for the reset. I want to play d2 badly, but just won't until reset. Like a kid before christmas, watching all the sparkly and coloured gifts ^^ Just want to throw yourself in there ^^ But, just have to wait, or get your hand slapped ^^

Oh no! People make games as a job to make money. What a cruel world. Blasphemy. How can they treat you so badly. They should never have done that and invest money in an already decaying game for people like you to be happy. Shame on them!

What is it you think they changed for the worse from the original? Besides it now requires you to upgrade from a potato to a cucumber, i dont see any difference?

There is no need to get dramatic. That was not my point, and you know it.

I've taken word multiple times on this forum, for blizzard to have taken 1$ a month from way back to maintenance the game, keep servers bot free, and such things. I think 90% of all the fans would have been happy to pay for that, to not have bots and cheaters ruin the game and the in-game economy.

The game was decaying from so long ago, that them waiting 10-15 years after that happening just says they were out to clean people's pockets rather than actually doing something for the fans.

I think the graphics was decent, but nowhere near GREAT, not great enough to warrant that insane stats it needed from a computer. I was hoping for something much much better.

The biggest disappointment for me, was the division of the player base even further taking place. Now you have players across:

- 4 realms
- D2 original LOD
- D2 original classic
- D2 ress LOD
- D2 ress classic
- D2 ress console LOD
- D2 ress console classic
- D2 ress computer LOD
- D2 ress computer classic
- All of the above softcore
- All of the above hardcore

And surely something else i don't remember. What a DISASTROUS way to lead a game!! People should be brought together, not divided further! As some does mention from time to time, a big draw with D2 back in the day was the community in-game. There were always public games, and i remember that too. 1$ a month could have kept that alive. Instead, they choose to do it the opposite way. A big payday and break the community completely. Yes, there are a lot of new players buying d2r, but the old elite, those that were loyal to begin with, that made D2 popular, was left in the dirt.

I also think the characters' run animations looks ridiculous compared to the original. It looks like they're running to the bathoorm in a hurry.

But generally just have read in a surplus of 50 different complaints of different natures since the release of it. And people STILL jump on it xD It just shows one thing. It is not the game that has decayed. It is the people. The people don't know how to guard quality. Rather they just swallow anything thrown their way, and pay for it too. "Not worthy, not worthy!!" And fork out the money ^^ 95% of all people are stupidified, brainwashed, unable to criticize in fear of being ostracised. To me, that is a symptom of mass manipulation and brainwashing having taken place. Only 5% of people have still the integrity, intelligence and willpower to see through the haze of garbage and bullcrappery and see the true solutions that should have taken place. Same philosophy goes about leadership, in all arenas of society. Only 5%!!! That says why the bar in society has sunken so low that i unfortunately think it will never get raised even above water level again. I'm not a fan of south park but they did get some philosophies in some episodes right.

It's very sad.

D2 15-20 years ago was a golden age of gaming, that will never return. I'm very lucky to have lived to experience it.
