I'm just now realizing this. I just got my first gaming pc a few weeks ago, so I'm playing all these new games that my old pcs could never handle. I heard a lot of hype about Hogwart's legacy when it first came out, but I just got it last night because there was a steam sale. I heard a lot of good things about this game but holy shit am I disappointed and bored. Last night I played for about 1 hour or more, got to play my character for about 5 minutes.. Today I played for 15 minutes, and the same thing. This shit makes me want to uninstall the game. People actually like this? I could probably skip a lot of this, but I want to play the game how it was intended and not miss anything. I'm just trying to give it a fair chance in its original state, but this is terrible.

This is honestly putting me off on gaming and making me think most games just aren't for me, especially newer ones. I also got red dead redemption 2 on sale and haven't started playing it yet. I hope I like it or else I might be done with buying games for good.

I also heard the witcher 3 is good? Should I try that? any other suggestions?

Single player crap games can be played for free and offline, and be tested
before shopping them to play online/multiplayer

I agree, who cares about graphics if the gameplay isn't fun. That's why Diablo 2 has been so good for all these years. I think nowadays games are just quick cash grabs for the developers to earn money, with no one actually playing the game for years like with Diablo 2. People get bored and move on from new games very fast, which proves they aren't very good compared to the old games.

When this game first came out, it had a lot of hype and a lot of big streamers played it, so I assumed it was decent. Harry potter isn't bad. I'm not a huge fan, but I don't hate it nor think it's gay.

I think maybe I should just stick to old games with a big player base because at least you know something made them stick around.

It depends what you are into. Some people play videogames to compete. Some people play games and prefer something with a good story etc.

Imagine if you didn't waste 16 years of your life you would be able to afford a decent house/apartment and wouldn't have to beg for money like Oliver twist
