researched gambling in my younger days. once a person understands it a person loses interest in it. that was my experience anyway.

wealth inequality
declining public services
deregulation
letting unhinged conspiracies run rampant and making it part of ur business model (looking at u fox news, facebook, X and other bot-infested social media platforms)
an antiquated 2 party system that serves the rich, not the people (for the most part)
an ignorant arrogance cultivated by nationalism "murica is best"

how do u like my list ?

gamlbling is another drug destroying lifes and families and letting it run unregulated clearly isn't helping.
another big L for this incompetent administration clearly lying to everyone pushing their agenda.

like my conclusion ? It has revolution vibes =)

So you just idle away your time, producing and receiving nothing of actual value? Seems like the true waste to me.

Yeah, the vibe of this thread is so bizarre... just a bunch of ranting about how badly and desperately people want the government to harshly punish and prohibit the vices they dislike, while undoubtedly allowing the ones they enjoy to proliferate. It's as if people today genuinely want their liberal countries to turn into authoritarian states like China, which are going to tell their citizens they only get to buy one six-pack of beer a week, or they can only play video games for 2 hours each day, and they can't eat the food they want to eat because it's unhealthy. Or, I imagine, via the more appropriate managed democracy sort of worldview in which we (the highly educated) know the lowly masses simply can't control themselves and make rational decisions, so we ought to tax the fuck out of products or activities so it only becomes accessible to the responsible privileged people like ourselves... but remember, we're making these decisions for your own good :-)

Not to mention OP taking time to whine about Trump and turn what could have been an interesting thread into partisan garbage from both sides... the explosion of online gambling took place under Biden with, as far as I am aware, no significant push back. And it has permeated on a state level for many years now, including the Democrat run state I live in, NJ.

it is! just like posting here!
but it's fun <_<

yes! we want totalitarianism! u have very good reading comprehension. huuuge!

ya know theres this thing called science. its like a truth seeking endeavour that can be independtly verified. producing stuff we call facts. like earth indeed round!
you will find it baffling how much actionable stuff comes out of there! also related to this gambling issue. regulation good!

but there were many big words so let me explain it again in a more approachable fashion:
parents give guideline. like no porn before 14! otherwise no dessert!
they r regulating the kids freedom because they know its better for the child.

not everyone is capable of making qualified decisions. hence u need regulations.
like we have guidelines in place here - i can toot about the most obnoxious conspiracy posting fake and fabricated news all day going unsactioned.
but if i mention a competitor trade site i go on timeout.

so applying ur logic is jsp like china???

Sort of I guess, but you are still talking about "this administration" like it is different.
Allow me to explain my position in a way maybe you will understand.
In movies you often have a good and bad guy who are in complete and utter opposition to each other, even willing to kill to stop them, until...
the camera is turned off and they go back to being friends.
Same thing in politics.

OP whine about Trump, when did you start riding his cock that hard? I only brought it up because we wont see a change in the next 4 years due to what I said in the original post which is relevant to gambelings continued rise, that's it. His son sits as an advisor and Trump partakes for profit, and thus, we can reasonably conclude it probably wont be reeld in to any significant degree, so what's it going to look like with another 4 years of growth. Where is it then? Is that unreasonable? Oh but he didn't talk about Biden. Fuck me didn't take you for one of those guys. Is he the President right now? Is Biden somehow still making decisions that will impact the future of gambling advertising?

That's not whining, I might have to put TI before your name TiJupe since I think its only you and TI and even took issue with that.

I'd also say the majority of people here are in simply agreement that a fool and his money can part ways and do whatever they please, almost everyone here agrees its action against the advertisers and those pushing to age brackets of a brain that's not close to finishing development, aka kids that they are banking on investing in manipulating so they become the future customer.

@bolded, BRUTAL :lol:

I just don't think we would have, as we didn't under biden, seen any political action taken towards reigning in online gambling if the democrats won in 2024. I should have used the word "mentioning" instead of "whining" about trump, thats my b
