wow that little minisforum looks pretty dope!! gonna check that out see how it runs games and stuff but man thats clean as f**

hehe cheers
the chip is better than the one i used to run multiple instances of D2R so def should be able to play the videogames
would still go with 64GB RAM tho, so can pre-allocate more to the VRAM regardless
beelink also has similar ones, with even more recent chips too
but that one should still be able to do the job

https://www.bee-link.com/products/beelink-gtr9-pro-amd-ryzen-ai-max-395
same chip as the frame.work desktop and 128GB RAM O_O
but again, for the needs u stated in OP, the chip from the one on the minisforum one should do the job too tbh
i mean, pretty much any of those Ryzen with integrated graphics would
Ryzen AI Max+ 395 seems to be the top dog rn tho

so just to sum it up
  • 5700G able to run 10x instances of D2R without much hassle
  • minisforum with AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS is even more powerful on that CPU / integrated graphics
  • Ryzen AI Max+ 395 is even more next level (beelink or frame.work), can go up to 128GB RAM to run even more instances of D2R too
would pick the Noctua fan on framework desktop one, they're great at making those
still not enough powerful? could make a cluster out of those O_O

tldr: they should do the job regardless, just pick one you like lol, just make sure it's Ryzen and has integrated graphics pretty much

i see you run alot of d2r at the same time but i dont play d2r specifically anymore, i would like to run like bigger games like doom, hades 2, path of exile 2 maybe try that out, middle earths, titan fall, the witcher, resident evils, oblivion rematered etc like some bigger games, not necessarily multiple instances just one at a time. the most of multitasking would be watching a movie while playing osrs on runelite..

still having more RAM with a setup like this means you can allocate more of it to the VRAM for games that require more of it even if playing on a single window
but yea that minisforum one should do the job for the ones you just mentioned
would still go for 64GB just in case but 32GB probably would be fine still for those

check benchmarks in youtube videos mate , for amd ryzen integrated graphics cards performance

as far as i remember they offer from 40 to 70 fps , depends on the game , if you are fine with that performance you can go with processor with integrated gpu , if you want more fps and you dont mind spend a bit more for electricity go with separate graphics card

like rx 9060 xt 16 gb , rx 9070 , rx 9070 xt , or if you want the features that nvidia offers rtx 5070 and above

and yes atleast 32 gb ram minimum is recommended , if you can get 64 gb ram

Looking at your old thread I don't see what the problem is
Your laptop hardware is windows 11 compliant

Unless it's not holding up to the games you're playing

But a 10700H and a Rtx 2080M should be gaming capable with your games list
