pmed a mod for help on this topic being re-opened and didnt hear anything back. Understandable if they dont want to re-open but would be nice to hear back either way. sports forums have non-betting banter threads with no FG involved and thats always been the norm. seems to be recently policed and i was just hopeful that could be toned down/let alone entirely. People are gonna talk smack about each others teams and that sometimes may lead to below the belt attacks. but theres no reason to close a 260 page general banter thread because somebody said some bad words.

When topics get derailed into excessive back and fourth off topic spam or worse, posts and a topics gets closed. If you feel it was wrongly closed you can reach out to a Senior Moderator.

i did reach out to both munky and holy-martyr. weve had issues in that sub before that holy martyr has resolved. neither got back to me so i figured i would open this thread.

a general banter thread in a non FG related forum is going to go off the rails one way or the other but i dont see the point in closing them. lots of those guys still spend money and bet/trade regularly on the site. just my 2 cents i know you didnt ask for.

I responded twice to you, and then let you know the thread and the closure of the thread was being reviewed? I responded within 3 minutes of your PM. Does that not constitute a response by your definition? The thread itself is 108 pages, sorry but you’re not going to get an immediate turnaround.

In the future please exercise some patience and don’t unnecessarily try to stir up drama where there isn’t any. The thread has been reopened after sufficient review.
