edit: Additional question, for casting does the item tier matter? Like will a lvl 40 and lvl 55 staff that both have 44 int do the same damage?

To answer your additional question, tier doesn’t matter for casting but for melee damage it will differ (to my knowledge)

Thanks, that's what I thought but it's been about 13 years since I did any casting haha

And kind of an educated guess on the staff, I’d say it’s worth 2-5k
I paid 1k for my 38 int lvl 35 for reference, but I think I got a very good deal on mine

But a lot of these items can get bidwarred up higher if 2 people are interested

Only thing item tier matters for on int items like this is how soon can you get that boost in stats.

I wish I knew what an item like this would go for, but the state of the economy on this game right now is weird. It's probably an item you post up, get bids, set a D/L accordingly and let the highest bidder take it.

Thanks to both for the input, the closet comp I could find is 6 months old where there was an offer for 8k on a 46 int lvl 55 and the seller kept bumping. Obviously a lot can change in 6 months and not a perfect comp. Still ISO other opinions if anyone has seen any more recent sales of similar staves

Paid 20k for a 49int lvl 55 staff, yours is 5 less int but 15 levels sooner so I can't imagine it going for less than 10k but it's possible to be in the 7.5k-10k+ range I suppose

Any and most speculated price checks are based upon previous purchases from previous buyers, sometimes you can get a price check that is higher/lower than what you think the item is worth then have multiple buyers give you offers when you create a thread. IMHO your best bet is to create a thread and if you get an appealing offer take it unless you need the item or think it's honestly worth more
