kind of agree, but as Jackie quoted some of the past weeks big trades scenes, we cannot say game is dead, its more like periodic/pulsing
some ppl maybe selling most of their stuff, but there are always buyers too who buying them
and maybe these ppl just reducing their chars and wanna buy something else, realms items, who knows...

An item only holds value if there is any buyers.
but at the same time, its ultimately up to the seller what they want for an item.

looking at things realistically, there's a very low chance to sell anything for 100% value because the investment is simply not worth it if you decide to quit yourself.
the vast majority sells items only to profit, and the vast majority buys to profit; with only like 10 players left on the realm on jsp, nothing worth over 2000fg will be easy to make your fg back on, and thus, people will offer like 1000fg for a 2000 fg item, to have room for resales.

items that used to be 100k+ (like the bug belt) has crashed down to 50-55 and still doesnt sell.
there's a chance that it will crash even lower if more people quit. especially if all the veterans quits, since they are usually the only ones that can afford these items, and nobody is buying lol, cause they most likely have 3+ perm ones themselves already.

And that's the point im trying to make; with no new players, the demand will crash and so will the prices, and when everything crashes, the veterans quit.
the realm is pretty much dead.

Both dz and sisq is heavily underpricing their items, the few veterans left in the game is wasting their fg or simply dont care about fg.
Some of them like finances profits 100's of thousands of fg monthly and can afford to lose fg on purchases, but not everyone can do that.
People that is investing on this to profit will lose fg, and most likely feel urged to quit down the road because of these purchases.

And like i mentioned a few times, it's the same veterans just moving around the same items to each other year after year.
Us players, like myself that is way less relevant have no way to get what we want, and if we do, we will never make our fg back.
this will urge most people like me to quit. you may as well play singleplayer and avoid RD if you just play for nostalgia.

Granted, it's not entierly dead yet, but it's getting there fast.
If the top buyers all quit, all that is left is holders of relics with no real value.
And i feel like that would be the final straw to kill the realm entierly, because you'd have no reason to be here in the first place.

I decide to keep at least two chars.
I think we should put some efford to keep comunity once a week evening for some duels funs. To really keep it alive

for the fun of it, make it so the only rule is that it cannot be a character designed for pvp; you may only use mf characters.

4v4, 4 mf paladins vs 4 mf sorcs, or any randomly geared pvm character is also fair game.
this lets us poor people to take part in the fun, and let pure skill decide which teams are the best.
switch up pvm characters each round to spice it up. im all game for that.
