I'm very impressed with your commitment to fishing and cooking. I'd like to master both of those proficiency skills one day.
It would require a lot of patience and self discipline on my part. A lot of times I feel too hyper and just want to catacombs.

I'll reach Rank 30 for Club Proficiency and Rank 30 for Heal Proficiency on Hardcore.
At the moment I'm grinding my way to Rank 26 Club and Rank 25 Heal. Not there yet.
But I'm slowly starting to feel motivated again. I lost focus once I reached #1 for both.

It's a battle. I'm also trying to squeeze out more points for Polearm Proficiency with a level 15 Polearm. LOL.
I definitely need to find an upgrade for Polearm. Preferably something Level 25. 30 or 35. With 50%+ EE on it.

Cooking level 10!

Nice. You're going to be cooking and fishing your way to the top of Ladder Slasher. I'm proud of your commitment.

I increased my lead as the #1 Club and #1 Heal proficiency player on Hardcore. And I'm #3 now for Polearm Proficiency.

But while I'd like to climb to #1 eventually for Polearm Proficiency I'm not sure I can do it with a Level 15 Polearm. LOL
Eventually I need to upgrade to a Level 25 or Level 30 Polearm at least. Nothing fancy but something decent with 40% EE.

I also plan to make a push on the Spear Proficiency list on Hardcore. But I'm in the very early stages with that one.
I love Polearms and Spears. I just don't have many good ones to use. If I could rock a good one like a rockstar I would.

Level 12 in fishing!!

I can reliably fish up trout now! Though I'm still a ways off cooking them. They'll be stored until I have the means of cooking. Best of all, if I fish in the catacomb wells I won't have to see sardines anymore.

For hours that blurred into an existential nightmare, park18 knelt at the virtual pond. While others chased glory, our hero chose the path of true dedication: Fishing.

He repeatedly clicked the "Cast Line" button, enduring the loop of the same three sprites, the digital equivalent of watching paint dry on a glacier.

Every point of experience was a microscopic step up an oil-slicked slope of boredom. But park18 persisted. Finally, the moment arrived. No fanfare, no trumpets—just a small, gray notification box confirming the sheer, unadulterated time wasted: "You have reached Fishing Level 12."

He had stared into the void of Ladderslasher's most boring mechanic and said, "Yes. More of this."

And so, the epic continues. park18 sits, Level 12 achieved, a majestic Trout in his inventory. His quest is not over. He must now dedicate himself to reaching Level 13, where, rumor has it, he will finally pull up a Bass—a fish so legendary, it probably has two extra pixels.
