Why It's a Trap:
This is the definition of a trap line:

"Free Money" Perception - Chiefs at HOME, only laying 3 points against Daniel Jones? The public sees this as a gift. They're thinking "Vegas messed up, I'll gladly pay -170 for this lock."
The Line Tells the Story - If this was really Mahomes at home vs Daniel Jones in a must-win spot, this line should be Chiefs -7 or more. The fact that it's only -3? Vegas is BEGGING you to take Kansas City.
Must-Win Mahomes - Everyone's loading up thinking "5-5 Mahomes at home doesn't lose to Daniel Jones." The narrative writes itself. That's exactly what makes it a trap.
Zero Respect for Indy - Not a single soul is touching the Colts. When public money is THIS one-sided on what looks like "easy money," that's when you should be running the other direction.

The Reality:

Take Indy +3.5 and Indy ML +165 this afternoon for some easy money. I know this is an unpopular take, but there are at least a couple of games every week in the NFL that are basically fixed, for lack of a better word. These games are fixed by the NFL in an attempt to increase interest in NFL viewing, ie: controversy. What's more controversial than Chiefs losing to a basically inferior Colts team to stir the Mahomes controversy. These games are fixed by the NFL and relegated to the refs, by either making or not making a certain call, typically involving holding and pass interference. If you just pull your head out of your ass it's so obvious most of the time. With that said bet Indy and sit back and enjoy the game and more importantly your easy, free money once again!
