If you add it while the beef is cooking that means you don't strain the grease 🤮
Or you do and your throwing away the seasoning basically 😂
id imagine also a lot of season would get caught up in the grease to so the water that is suppose to be reduced has less seasoning
I don't see any benefit to adding before it's cooked, I add it at about 90% cooked after straining most the grease off

assuming white people tacos, you drain, add the packet, add a little water (1-2 tablespoon, salt will pull more water from the meat), stir and let simmer.

See that’s why I add mine after it’s cooked, I added it with a lil fat grease once and it just made left a greasy aftertaste

Cook > drain grease > water with packet > simmer till thick.

Yes bro I made the mistake of adding seasoning before draining once and I was many upset
