WD-40

wd40 is not lube its more of a cleaner. it will remove rust protection and make any mechanical part worse over time if lube is not applied after cleaning

So been looking at different keyboards and finally ordered aula f75 max with outemu silent peach and lemon v3 switches.

I figured most of the premium keyboards are a scam who charge you extra +$100 just for a brand logo and another $100 for being made out of metal... like wtf? I am not going to be fighting zombies with my keyboard why would I need it to be heavy?

Anyway I have watched enough reviews to be confident with this decision.

I don't think anyone cares about your keyboard. Type on a qwerty screen. That's silent 😶

Loudness depends on the switch.
I'd definitely go on youtube for sound tests on switches and pick ones you like.
Make sure to get prelubed or if you're building a keyboard yourself get a kit.

Everything from the chasis, key plastic, padding in the keyboard, and key switches have everything to do with how it sounds.
I have some painters tape and a peice of foam to absorb some sound, and make a "thockier" sound.
I built my first keyboard about 2 years ago? Was fun but tedious.

Milky yellows, manually lubed.
Some key cap set I found on amazon.
