Vpns can fuck up your acc.
Friend of mine lost acc during studying abroad in turkey and logging in from Istanbul locked access to acc.
Mail recovery doesn't work cos it's some old email from 2008 and fg was never purchased to prove owner via ID

wish i could have my original account back but the email it was with is long gone, and i dont pay for my vpn it comes with my job

if you remember what the email was but is now deleted, you can remake the email and have the recovery request sent.

unless it was hotmail.

My friend didn't use VPN, but was literally in Istanbul studying. I guess JSP messed it up cos login happened from Germany and Istanbul in few hours difference

I dont think so, I was using one once to try and get around temp ban on d2 and jsp just wouldent let me log in while using it. This was several years ago tho so things may have changed
