I've made a ww pvm barb going for high dmg just for fun, not bothered about mf just kill and clear speed using forti with grief pb and cs death using frenzy to hit the top breakpoint. First barb since old LoD times.

Trying to decide on what to socket my helm with (arreats or gface), 15ias means I can hit the 4fpa on 2 frenzy boosts, not that important but it helps, but trying to decide on the add. I would have gone ed/max instead but read up about the bug so that's not an option.. but is it better to go for Ed or max then in the helm? Or is there something else I can look to use?

I like to cham my helms to free up other cbf gear

Ye that would free up my ring slot with the raven frost but then I'd want a ring with leech(dual is better), Dex/ar and DMG so that's going to cost alot

I don't need anymore Res and I'm focusing on DMG rather than life , my barb has 2.5k with Bo and he's doing fine with it , I want clear speed.

What's the best to socket with when trying to get more damage output putting ias aside?

You could put 40ed/9 str or 40ed/10min dmg

With ed/min bug, the ed% will still apply to your max dmg, but won’t apply to your min. But the +10 integer min might add more min dmg than 40% ed would depending on the rest of your gear

E/ also 30ed/9str/18 min dmg rare would be best probably ^^

Also 18 min/18 max rare is an expensive option or 30 max magical cheaper option
