For those fifteen years of age and under.

I know our child adoring users would be real upset to see this happen in the United states, because they wont be able to engage with all the transgender content they're so used to seeing.

Seriousness aside, are you being a decent parent and enacting this policy in your household already? Or is big brother stepping in a requirement to get your children to stop behaving like animals for entertainment of the entire planet?

If your children are affected by their use of social media, then you have not performed your parental duties satisfactorily.

And the government measures have a double agenda of control.
You gone get a digital ID to visit adult entertainment sites
and your children are to blame for it.

Social media and tech tooling is for lazy AF parents IMO. I see it often at airports. Young excited energetic kids annoying parents, then rather than exercise the child, parent puts tablet in front of them.

It's neglect

Far lefties will check on every social media platform and report each and every one they don't agree with to the authorities like they do in the UK

Unsupervised Internet use is a problem as old as this site
This is a step forward but its one that should have been done as parents not as a law

All the blame falls on parents 100% but certain countries will refuse to say anything negative to any voting age people. Kudos to the countries actually trying to do something about the non deserving parent epidemic.

I'm curious about the people who are opposed to things like this, aside from the manner in which it is achieved, of course. It's like phones in schools, last I checked, the evidence is quite clear about how terrible it is for kids

Usually, parents, teachers and the environment work together to bring up worthy individuals. Nowadays, both parents work, there is little supervision or motivation to supervise. Teachers have no authority anymore. They're supposed to communicate with pupils on a friendly manner, not in a mildly authoritarian way. Children aren't ashamed of anything. You need to go above those levels to protect children when they're the most vulnerable/ their frontal cortex for decision making isn't developed enough.

I am all for a social media ban in all developed countries until 16.
