Yes blazing student only 2 episodes, not sure if there is new out. It's a manga adaption looks like there is only the 1990 version.

Ashita no Joe (1970) is considered a really good classic. Seems there are followup movies aswell but not sure if they are any good.


This type of "arena" or just martial arts is rare nowadays. Just a bunch of fairy bs now unfortunately.

Yuu Yuu Hakusho (1992) was a long time since I've seen but has some tournaments.

Btooom! (2012) this one supposed to be really good tournament series. Manga adaption.

One Punch Man (2015) First season really good.

Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor (2007) Kind of tournament/arena? Protagonist has so survive sick games with other prisoners.

There are a lot of sports anime if you want to see "competition". Not my cup of tea but it was always very popular. Such as One Outs (2008), about baseball.

By the way BAKI has tons of followups they're just as good, the son of Ogre arcs. Same with Hajume no Ippo, a lot of sequels highly rated.

Liked Joe over Ippo, actually. Still on 2nd season though. Still wished they continued Ippos anime adaptation...

About the game? Mostly likely I didn't respond because it was a videogame, I do enjoy videogames, but wasn't really relevant I think. Don't get me wrong, I also have a lot of stuff going on IRL that also has kept me in survival mode for quite some time. I don't always have an answer to everyone's posts, no disrespect to what you posted.
