Can’t be the only one who struggles with this, you typing a pm to someone maybe even including a screenshot or typing out a small theorycraft to help someone with their build.

Only to find out after you typed the whole thing that you cannot send it cos their message box is full.

Would be great if there’s was like a small pop up near the message box that said “This user’s message box is currently full” so it could save you quite some time typing the message

Not sure how the logistics of that would work but doubt anyone would be opposed to it.

Alternate idea: if you type out a full pm but users inbox is full, it is saved as a draft that can be resent and alerts the user their inbox is full with some kind of priority alert.

With how forums work, I'm not sure that's something that can happen without some crazy extensive work. The entire messaging system would have to be redone I'm pretty sure.

To know their pm box is full requires you to attempt to send info to the account and you receive a block. You can open a blank message box on jsp before you even enter a username, and when you click the online/offline icon to send a message, it just opens a box with the thread link and username simply pre-added, but it's done nothing to request any info. So to know that their pm box is full beforehand, that's not going to be quick work. So I'd imagine this will never happen.
