Agreed. Even with what tech ethicists are trying to push for, e.g., to watermark all AI/LLM creations, people may still fall prey to scams or seamless fake claims. It troubles me.

lol that's crazy. Historically we have a terrible track record with "Looking before we leap" when it comes to making huge leaps in technological advances. Look at what happened when we got the bright idea to mass produce and distribute leaded gasoline for example. Great ideas: not enough time and thought put into them.

Plenty of thought put into that... Stretch profit with poisonous filler. That's like blackrock 101. Anything powdered has filler; flours, spices, whey proteins, taco bell mystery meat pink slime, etc etc

Not with lead in gasoline though. It was purely practical and the adverse health effects of it on humans weren't even a consideration. These days, they will study it and still do it anyways citing "acceptable levels of risk" LMAO

That's after it was already being used in 1924. I'm talking about it's invention and subsequent development in 1921-1923. Factory workers were dying during it's production and nobody gave a shit and they continued.
