first time making a barb with runewords, found a sup eth colos sword so making death/grief frenzy or ww.

im stuck on what to do for merc, pride/might, hustle/might, faith, reapers etc... what is the best option for barb?

WW or throw or ww/throw hybrid for density destroying
Berserk for elite sniping
Frenzy is total garbage

Merc:
A2 might
Reaper if WW
Pride if Berserk (or insight if you want the mana sustain for long tele, but 2x wiz and pots is good enough)

I'm thinking of doing fortitude for amour and using last wish switch to proc decrep, so I can use aura on my Merc for extra dmg

Can this work with ww build? Switch to lastwish/storm combo proc decrep and switch back to grief/death

And have you tried using phoenix on ww for the extra dmg?

Problem with Death is the Glacial Spike procs can shatter enemies, which is never good for a barb. It's such a cool runeword though especially in a nice ethereal base.

Same with the ice armour on Fortitude actually, can't remember which one it is.

But yeah if you're physical damage then gotta be A2 Might with Reaper's Toll. I guess you could go something like Last Wish and Lawbringer with an A5 Merc but a lot more expensive and it's probably inferior.

Problem with proccing Decrepify yourself is all the gear switching, as you'll probably have BO gear on switch already.

Ive got some warcry javs to test it out, so I can keep them both in cube and switch out for BO. My barb isn't Horker I'm going pure DPS ww to try it out.. wondering if any1 has tried this with pride Merc getting might and conc with decrep

Let us know how it goes if you try it. It sounds like a lot of hassle switching to different skills and weapons for the Decrep. As I'm sure you're aware "chance to cast" stuff doesn't work with Whirlwind.
