Even with that it’s hard to hit max. Then again I was using a 3/3/2os shield instead of 3 pc trang which does have some res on it but still

some of the top pvpers such as cooley, mr llama, and FirstAidsKit have scrutinized my build and I keep to myself for now sry


has a pretty mediocre psn nova he could prly expand on a little bit

Infinity on merc is not a must, obedience is alright. You just want something with cb to make boss killing easier. The benefits of infinity are corpse explosion damage and higher hit chance because of conviction -def

The 75 fcr setup is the highest damage you can do by a good amount

People keep saying that necros suck for pvm p8, but people keep playing it in sub-optimal ways…

A common myth that a lot of players still believe is that you need to be within the 53.33 yd radius of a monster dying to get xp from it.
It is only true for monsters killed by allied units.
You always get the xp from monsters that YOU kill, no matter how far away.

If you read my post, linked above, and you understand the mechanics of xp, fire golem’s holy fire aura redirecting aggro, thorn’s mechanic, etc…
You end up with a build that is:

Cheaper (insight instead of infinity+insight)

Faster density destroying (much more total dps when played this way)

Faster boss killing (fire golem alone can kill p8 hell diablo in ~7s, he’s more dps than you and your merc combined)

Much more tanky (fire golem’s holy fire is redirecting all aggro on him, and you don’t need to telestomp anything to try to get a faster kill to use CE)

No double (or even triple) sunders like some people suggested

No time wasted to resummon IG from a bunch of crap insights (he’s much harder to keep alive than on a summoner)

The above is true from p1 to p8.
Don’t use CE, don’t use IG, don’t use infinity.
Those are the 3 baits leading to a weak poison nova build.

So I use exactly the set up you're describing , I've heard some ppl say holy fire ticks stop nova ticks but can't honestly say I've noticed that to any degree. Meanwhile the fire golem aggro + thorns means I can actually kill bosses and dclones
