October 7th was attempted Genocide, they came raped maimed everything with a pulse just because they live on this side of the border

In my eyes “attempted genocide” is not “genocide” like “attempted murder” is not an actual murder.
It’s serious , non the less, and so it falls into the definition of crime against humanity.

Basically, in this thread, a few (not everyone) of the Pro Israeli position have repeatedly stated that everyone in gaza is complicit and deserve what they get. so when you say: "People need to separate the government from the people." the irony is a bit heavy. Yes, people need to separate government from its people but it gets a bit depressing when you dive into the numbers that support these actions, in gaza, and the west bank.

If you look at some of the posts above this one:

Oct 7th is called attempted Genocide, but the same user is saying there is no genocide (or attempted genocide if you will) when it relates to Gaza. On the one hand we have 1200+ killed in a raid and then on the other hand 65,000+ people are killed in retaliation. They have no where to go, they are ducks in a barrel.

The pro Israeli claims that Hamas is a crime against humanity committing organization that needs to be dismantled. Hamas is imbedded deep into the Gazan society.

i have zero beef with you and its too early in the morning for me to argue. we can both agree that Hamas commits crimes against humanity, needs to be dismantled and is imbedded deep in gazan society....where we differ on opinion is the collective treatment of a people and the causes of the conflict, which i accept we cannot reconcile. (my view is where one kick/kill someones entire extended family, a few of them will have a grudge, and if one does this for decades one basically becomes a gardener harvesting the crops every October).

i am typing this bluntly, not to annoy, but rather to be clear on my position. If all of Hamas was killed today, Israel would kill more people tomorrow, you know that, i know that. we have gone over this repeatedly. so long as israel continues to mow the lawn in gaza and the west bank there will always be retaliation, its only human.
