Explain to me how someone not reading the name of the forum they are posting in will be alleviated by it having a different name they didn’t read in the first place, and are hence, already posting in the wrong forum?

Bro, one of the four dudes, who made that mistake today, literally said that he's new and he thought Softcore Trading is both, as he didn't check that there is separate forum. What else to explain here?
Edit: Of course, some smarter way like checking recent posts and showing prompt if recent activity was primarily on ladder and vice versa would help a lot better (with ability to turn it off), but I can't hope to see such a change. This instead, while not perfect, will still help, maybe just a bit, but it will.

I''m not upset at all but the "effort" in this would be close to nothing. Give me an hour and even I would figure out how to make this happen with little to no experience in coding.

I'm not exaggerating this; there is atleast two people PER day that i have this problem with. I offer X for Y, waiting Z min for a reply. Once the reply has been recieved it takes Z min to make a game for a trade and change regions. And guess what happens when I try to join their game or vice versa?

Again, if this was a suggestion for a prompt similar to legacy I’d be all for it.

Changing the name isn’t going to solve this issue of people not reading the name in the first place.

I'm just curious how you can be so sure? You don't even experience this problem since you're in a forum that's correctly named.

Damn.. if only I had said something a long the lines of a “prompt similar to legacy”..

So your saying they didnt read softcore vs softcore ladder… and you think adding “nonladder” for them also to not read would solve the issue?

Yeah I'm saying precisely that. You won't have a room for wrongly filling the missing part in a name, if it's not missing.

I’m glad you agree it won’t solve anything.

and how on earth wouldn't something that LEGIT takes less than 5 minutes for an experienced programmer be worth doing even if it's only helping 5%? 5% is a fuc*load of topics and minutes saved each day/week/month/year
