All good lol.

Yeah that could work, but would depend on what plants I put in as they need sunlight and they might not get enough if it's in a cabinet vs a windowsill. Plus we don't have any room for something like that. Our space is pretty full as it is. (too many cat trees)

greenhouse would be cool

maybe some day when i get more time

but herbs (basil) and tomatoes

i don’t try to keep anything alive in the cold months, so start over in spring

If you like spicy, after a few seasons of tomatoes I always recommend a pepper plant for the next step.

You could grow a citrus fruit tree.

If starting pepper plants and you live in a single grow season region, start the pepper plants indoors earlier than the rest of your plants.
Otherwise they may not mature fast enough to yield a large harvest by the time fall comes around.

I grew Tomatoes, thai peppers, sport peppers, green peppers, and jalapenos this year.

Making my own chili flakes and oil with the thai peppers.
Pickled the sport peppers for chicago dogs, and jalapenos go on about anything.
Green peppers for stir fry

Made my own raised beds a couple years ago, putting them to use.
