Ive been playing for a bit but didnt heavily invest in skins. When the market crashed and slowly started to rebuild I bought 10 reds for about 500 USD ( give or take) to do 2 knife trade ups. I got an ursus vanillia and a BFK Lore BS. Im super happy about the BFK but ive been seeing people think knives will drop to like 20 dollars. Im aware noone knows exactly what will happen but do we really think theres a chance all knives go to below 100 even decently saught after ones? Just curious on other peoples thoughts as Im reletively new to the "market" aspect of cs2

ALL knifes below 100?? Nah not gonna happen. Theres a higher chance that valve will ban trading altogether 😅😅

Prices will balance out over the next month or so, between 30-60% value loss on them imo, but that can be drastically different for specific finishes.

I have a vanilla ursus also, they were pretty solid at 185-210 before the crash, and currently i see them around 110-150.
My guess is they will balance around 120

What about the bfk? I don't imagine they will drop below 100 either right?

40-60% of what they were in August / September is my opinion.
or just look at roughly the price one year ago

I have a 0.97 ST BFK Lore, in the past week, it went from 1200 to 400 and its at like 850 right now i think?
market is moving every day, its not finished stabilizing

bfk lore BS is gonna drop more than a FT one would, i think (idk, i wanted it as max BS and im keeping it long term so the price roller coaster doesnt bother me)

Yeah I figured there would be no way to really know. I'm okay taking a loss in the upgrade but since I heard the below 100 dollars thing I was worried both would go to like 50 bucks idk. Just wanted opinions. Ty

nah deffo not below 100 for bfk.
the ursus might get close to 100, but i think itll stay above 100. its a solid mid-range knife

10k+ knives will show on market in 2 days (30.10), even more will start showing in whole november, price will drop alot, it will stabilize but much later

Right but werent some of those knives tradeable before thursday? Since you were able to instantly trade knives you upgraded with ur own reds (not bought off market) so hypothetically it wouldnt be all 10k knives on thursday? or am I misunderstanding that


Also afaik the BFK lore would still be reletively rare as its from a collection where BFK isnt gaurenteed so although there will be more on market for sure I dont think itll tank below 100 right?

both cases that drop bfk lore have other knives yeah, but one is dreams & nightmares, which is an actively dropping case during the years of highest player count... so, way more quantity than other cases. it balances out in a way.

Well breakout is bfk only but yeah I get what you're saying. Well I guess we will see where it levels out. But I figure since dreams and nightmares has so many knife options and also has really expensive reds it wouldn't be as chased in terms of trade up
