The crashed cop car was driven by a suspect who stole it...

Not by a cop

Assuming you are trying to suggest a cop crashed that cop car

Im assuming the other regular cops were going 135 since thats their max. well find out in the subsequent footage to come as the story unfolds.

you bring up a very good pt tho about cops often being undercover in heists;
civilians tend to drive under the limit not being able to get away with reckless endangerment:

TLDR i morally expect law enforcement to not aggressively follow because even if they werent driving super fast in the snow,
their hot pursuit influences the civilian's likelihood of crashing into others and especially property.
Naive ofc (pointed out to me by former officer who criticizes modern policing)

for the law to not have this embedded in its training application? well... the law is weaponized":

look at all the damage, yes the "thief" spark kegged it but the officer ought know how to handle that situation so the people are apprehended and the property isnt damaged or further endangered.

Long: most grand theft auto'ers assume cops are going to try to k1ll them. sad. true. smart.
they steal to make money so they can live. survival.
thusly they drive for their lives trying to get away. a life.

the problem starts with the weaponization of our society's resources that forces people into stealing.
for ex whos the actual thief?: the one forced to sew the shoes for pennies over seas, or the one stealing the shoe from the store thats selling it to you for 100s?

An overall inability for authorities to honor the social contract, because the "law is weaponized" is why i see that the burden of using good judgement ought be in those who are privileged enough to "be in charge"
and they ought to know the cause and effect of their own actions. blaming each other or keeping incentivized prisons full wont resolve the moral decay of society.

its a consciousness issue at this point. you can see that police treat each other the ways civilians hope they are treated by them.

so they are more than capable of it, and thats where my theology has great explanatory power in why civilians are viewed/treated as objects.

obviously if things were about law or even the concept of fairness, you'd expect immediate education before or during detainment, and officers merely trying to inform them of what they should do so they dont have to do anything other than that.

again what youd expect if peace were a lamens defined term.

and this isnt even addressing the dangerous ideology that millions of laws ought be known and practiced by civilians, and that one could be a law abiding citizen 99.999% of their lives and yet one infraction could be the end of it.

also not considering the concept of agency(whether you knew or wanted to do), consciousness(more than a legal notion) or even forgiveness(its ok to not be perfectly obedient ^^ when thats impossible). and who gets cherry picked out of the pool that could be equally or more guilty by their own legal definitions.

ya its population control for the ruling powers. and i get into even the unknown "coincidences" like where you have thieves stealing and running past legit customers in order to set them up at the security alarm. have experienced that before and ofc they went after me ^^ im sure by mistake. ^^
