I didn't say its ok and im not american. The americans dont exactly have clean hands but its still better than what happens to peoppe in russia, north korea and irab. In the West, something like guantanamo Bay becomes a scandal and people are held accountable (admittedly not to the degree that id like). In the east you have Stalin openly proclaiming that its ok for russian soldiers to rape women and nearly a century later you have his descendants carrying on with the same old loot, rape, pillage mindset in their wars of conquest.

Peace so long as you were aligned with russia. Again this is why nato is a thing. Russia is a shit neighbour.

First he wanted Ukraine because he had Ukraine, now he wants east Ukraine because its the parts of the country he had, that cared about. How can a long lasting peace be possible with constant NATO encroachment and color revolutions? If Putin makes peace in Ukraine, will NATO militarize the west even further and use it as a launching pad for more offensive operations?

We make peace with our enemies not our allies. If it wasnt a hostile relationship we wouldn't be seeking peace. There's no condition of a peace deal that absolutely guarantees security. The only guarantee is when you raze Carthage to the bare dirt and salt that earth. These are the basic conditions of resolving any conflict, Ukraine and Russia aren't unique.

What offensive operation has nato launched against Russia? People join nato precisely because of russias history as an aggressor.
