Hey,

So i just bought a new pc.

5070 rtx

Amd 7500f

Did monitor the hardware, temperature etc. - nothing is wrong here.

But it is like my hardware doesnt get used fully by the software??

And every 5 seconds i have massive fps drop in games?

No overheating, no bottleneck, reinstalled drivers, restarted, removed shadows etc.

Any good advice? Its mainly in fortnite & apex legends

Here is a common list of things to check.
* OneDrive Sync ( you might have a file downloading/uploading ) Causing bad internet connection in game, which may impact FPS.
* Bad windows update, check for updates
* Outdated graphics driver ( Nvidia ) after doing a recent windows update.
* Check your Ram Cards , check the stickers and make sure they are the same Model & Speed clock cycles.
Commonly happens if you buy a computer with 1-2 ram cards, and try to buy 1,2,3 more .

Thanks man.

I just reinstalled windows too make sure. Just did the same with the nvidia drivers

One drive is logged off and no sync.

I used hardware monitor, where it says ram should be fine.

I have 2 x 8 gb blocks, i can try to take them out insert again. - but all components are maximim 6 months old.

Any other suggestions?

8 is pretty small did you happen to install games on portable ssd?

also is you ram cards installed in proper slots 1/3 or 2/4

and is your xmp profile turned on ? located in bios menu

are you hard wired in or on wifi ?

and lastly are your trying to run maxed out settings ?
or low settings

some time running higher setting can get your gpu to be used more might run smoother but that kind of if your having cpu and gpu bottle necking which you say is not the problem

also you made sure one drive isnt screwing with your setup aswell

maybe try running heavens gate and see what your score is aswell fortnite can have dips in fps when loading in or cahche for the first time or when jumping out of bus you could see fps drop there but once your landed its should be running at best fps

let us know what settings your using and confirm your running on your gpu and not your cpu sounds dumb but hey never know !

Like the guy above me said, i also suggest
Ram cards in slots 1 & 3, you can try 2 & 4 ?
Unless your motherboard only has 2 slots? then nvm ?
But yeah you also have to check bios is up to date, and also check that the clock speeds Match the stick speed, and or Setup your XMP settings.

Also if there is any Turbo settings in the bios for your CPU, try to disable that, and see if if makes a difference, if it does. then we can at least narrow down the problem.

So try a bios update.
Then try ram cards in slots 1,3 or 2,4 ( maybe even 1 card at a time ) .
then if still nothing, disable the cpu turbo in bios.

If that doesn't work, let us know. and we can probably suggest other things to look into that are slightly more advance.

AMD Ryzen 5 7500F

Adata legend 800 1 tb NVME

DDR5-6000 / PC5-48000 DDR5 SDRAM UDIMM

What I have in common with you:
GIGABYTE B650M G AX
nVidia 5070 RTX
2x 16Gb Patriot DDR5 6000
1TB Lexar SSD

But with an Intel i5

1. Enable XMP (Run Task Manager -> Memory -> U shd see M/T 6200)
2. Use nVidia Profile Inspector to enable a few settings to stop stuttering: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-ggq_S3sDQ&t=303s

Hope it will solve yr situation

wifi speed can mess you up is it a newer modem you have or older and the ghz on your modem compaitable with the wifi board on you pc that could cause fps drop or stutter aswell if you could hard wire in if possible would be a good choice to see if that the problem the more device sharing the modem you could run into these issue try the simple stuff first

another bonus info that might be relevant.

i am running two screens.

Samsung 240 hz 1440p

AOC 144 gz 1080p

i have issues with connecting 2 x dp to gpu and the screens, if i want my mainscreen to have 240 hz refresh rate.

read that it might be the issue. ill try now with just 1 setting for both 144 hz.

might fix it
