Somehow, YouTube has recommend and hooked me into watching people who protect tourists from pickpockets.
It is fascinating and frightening all at once. Vigilantism, if executed with the assistance of law enforcement or from some legit security organization, can have a long lasting effect. But, what I see are pickpockets devolving towards carrying odds and ends that they may use to lash back at the vigilantes acting on their own. Some pickpockets appear to have violent handlers. The pickpocket handlers abuse the pickpockets as like a pimp may do and also they may harm the vigilante if the handlers have the numbers. I think the vigilantes, whether trained in self-defense or not, are going to experience a rude awakening when they are permanently scarred or worse by an unhinged/desperate pickpocket. Sorry, long typings.
We need to start an organization against the pickpocketers! There are more of us than there are of them! By all means necessary, we will stop the pickpocketers!
