Do you get 2 GP on first completion on a character or for every successful MQ?

This list of classes will tell you how many points you get. It goes up for each unlocked class. It’s doubled if it’s done on hardcore.

I see it says 2 for successful and 1 for failed, just want to make sure it’s not per character. Was talking with a fellow new player and we both thought it was only 2 for first completion

If you start off with a Barbarian, you succeed and unlock Samurai you get 2 points (SC), now, if you use that same character as a Barbarian for another run and succeed again, you only get 1 point, not 2 since you have already unlocked Samurai.
