A lot of people quit using JSP while playing PoE out of risk of getting banned for RMT. With the new merchant tabs making it possible to buy stuff without any chat stuff going on, is it considered 100% safe RMT trading or are there still risks getting banned? Prefer to hear any stories from people who already used them in PoE2. Any problems that come up with arranging trades using this?

To be honest, I've used JSP with PoE for 10 years now. Sometimes earning upto 100K per season, and never been banned. I sell and offload 2+ mirrors worth of divines every league.

I've always recently asked for an item in return for my divs. I dont think using merchant tab makes it any less sketchy

same poe 2 safe but nothing 100% but more chance to not BAN

If anything theyll try to use it to ban innocent players.

While doing nothing against the person who bought it.

Its not safe trading, safest trades are timeless jewels and megalos, the risk to get banned is really low for rmt on poe and most likely only will happen if you have suspicious trades with a flagged rmt acc, which are rare on this site

There was one guy who was an rmter then would get people on jsp banned back in the day, his name was smalldevil but he name changed once people stopped trading him

The idea is you can just say I don't even know who I traded with because it's automated. I find it a defense against even trading with proven RMT'ers, how can you stop them from trading with you?

if an RMTer is selling you an item he got himself, for a reasonable price on a trade website, why would that get you in trouble?

how Last Epoch rmt is done now, is a case example of how the Merchant Tab could play a role in trading.
