I would like to know the opinion of @EntityDispleased and @andrewtate

From what I see initially the bad reds and magentas are now worth a lot more. Expensive reds have actually gone down because anyone in the market to buy an expensive red in the last 24 hours is getting a knife instead through farming cheap reds.

Magentas are in the same boat

All expensive knives are crashing. and will keep crashing for now. almost all knives are down heavy some as much as 40-50%. Some knives have actually rebounded a little bit since because demand for knives over all is skyrocketing


Analysis:

Expensive reds and magentas will drop but the market will rebound considering the average cost of a red goes up which encourages a buyer to pay more since now a good red is only 50 dollars more than a bad red instead of 100 dollars more etc etc etc. Buy the dip

cheap cases are going to increase in price because the reds and magentas will be a better price meaning the median average is much better for the current market price. Buy cases now while they are cheap.

Knives will continue to crash until we find the equilibrium of 5x reds at fair condition will produce a knife at fair condition. Knives will continue to drop and cheaper reds will continue to be more expensive until that equilibrium is found followed by a market correction

knives will crash and people will cashout, the dip wont be profitable because knives will be perma rollable, ie knives will finally be affordable to the avg player (good thing for the game, bad for collectors/people with thousands in inventory)

ya i think knives are gg'd but i have only reds so my inventory value went up today lol

I mean, they are technically perma rollable now (assuming there is always enough cases, which I think there is). Instead of low cost high reward, it will be the same thing as opening cases but higher upfront cost. Reds will be priced accordingly so people don't just spam them, and have to consider the gamba. Similar to cases. But who knows.

picked up a classic vanilla today, gonna look for somethin fun tomorrow idk what yet
