ahh the japanese. a much smaller, minimalist people
i wonder if they’re all back sleepers
or if they are side sleeping, again being lighter/smaller maybe that factors in
yes they live long, better diets and whatnot
the few that do reproduce barely use epidurals for birth. blew my mind when i found that out
how do they feel when they wake up? maybe they wake up feeling like shit but thats part of their culture i dont know
but i agree the bed industry is likely a scam. i know margins are crazy, cost a fraction to make vs what they sell for
ive tried a lot of different beds and as a non back sleeper super firm is a no go
back sleepers have it easy
Western culture is soft full of drugged up walruses and mouth breathers, it's genuinely sad to be part of it. The fact that you had to assume people who sleep on hard beds wake up feeling like shit is massive brainwashing. I told you I sleep like a baby its amazing.
I heard stories in African nations where women give birth to kids while working in the field without any assistance and then carry on working like nothing happened. So it wouldn't be surprising to me if Japanese dont use epidurals. Its only surprising if you are soft and a big sissy. Tough people dont need soft beds.
Listening to you mock hard bed sleepers is like a scrawn/fat kid mock people who go to the gym.
If you spent a lifetime on soft coushy mattresses then I guess you probably will feel like shit sleeping on hard surface. Just like you would probably hurt yourself in the gym the first time you lift any weights.
Remember I am not the one who spent $8000 or has sleeping issues.
I would recommend you start with a firmer matress then work your way up to hard. Also it maybe surprising to you that you can choose to sleep on your back. Or do you have a condition that doesnt allow you?
