donny dorrito learned from me at one point and then taught rattle trap aaron.
but they were thieves so not my thing.

I think the only one connected to them was soccer drewg who i also helped hdin.

Either drewg or his friend cruel joey yanked about 20k irl from my mules. Joey called me said all my shit was gone so idk:
(80X perm items fletch slippers 3/20/20 290s, etc) and had to part ways with those guys unfortunately.

could only have been 1 of 3 people so im assuming it was drew and not joey or my friend eric.

good news is having lost most my d2 wealth i ended up making my best pvper(hdin) by using what i had left on one toon instead of 1 of everything.

most likely i funded their entire offline private server at some point Can only imagine what they did w/ all that pre patch rust storm perms.

i remember him spending about 20k on a fiber back then to reduce the ping on the server. pretty much everyone from pvp were scammers they would all account share and rob each other until there was no one left. my rl friend killed tmc legit vs hacks and they bruteforced his account.

20k c4sh worth of items not 20k fg. i think back then a perm fletch was a few K now theres no market but some pt it was 80k for a 08 valk even. definitely had 1 of those.

Why they would all rob each other, not just me, makes zero sense. their dueling addiction is greater then some minor cash flow and so hurting their own community is certainly why i never respected them.

our community struggled and we were literally helping people trade so that explains why they never made it to bnet where they couldnt steal from the encrypted server lmfao.

TLDR i had the best stuff when the internet started, now i basically use a broken game boy to surf the web lmfao. cost of living indeed.

I bought d2 and had to return it because our computer at a time was a potato made from rocks.

I still ripped a copy onto a cd and played it anyway

I think you mean tree stump not potato and rocks

i had a private dsl and cable line when yall were still waiting for your mom to get off her phone.

wasnt fair for you not gonna lie. 20 ping d2. and i was playing on my friends 3k alienware back when they were a G brand, still better than your average persons computer today decades later.

i got my internet fix and superiority complex over with before you guys were loading your first ask jeeves inquiry lmfao.

probably why im ahead of the trend here. you will eventually move to mountain biking not video gaming imo.

play d3 though, the 1-70 and 75gr experience is worth it.

try barb or monk.

20k cash you cant spend fg on fiber. valks and btals were like 30 bucks back then but again they were all scammers so most of them were unperm. jsp didnt lock people for unperm as perm back then. the cruel kids would put +def jewels in valks and sell them as legit.

I valued it at the cost for a legit item from a legit seller. are you saying no1 valued clash test perms even back then? I dont recall either way.

Inevitably i woulid have lost it all if i didnt sell it past 2013. Pt being they were all legit and it was 2 mules full of that stuff.

a small fortune if handled right for sure even if years later, and it only increased up until d2r release.

it was basically my GOLD investment in d2 items. I knew those perm items would be more valuable than anything so i intentionally stocked up the second rust storm news hit.
got the trades in b4 people came home from work to see it :).

I think i thought that it was against the law or that i could sue them for stealing my virtual items and didnt realize digital items werent considered that as a lamen.
ofc thats hard to do even in iRL; being so young it was a blunder to me so lesson learned ofc.

eventually even other main stream sites had to take down virtual items because of the crazy legality of it all with virtual stealing.

by 2013 the value sky rocketed i was thinking 05-06 prices. only time i ever heard of someone getting in trouble was when nader sold the only known g valk the dude cokemx did a pp charge back and supposedly went to jail for it. he later sold it to dupers and thats how the zod buged 08 valk became a common unperm item.

i was asking you what you thought about both, all good. its a hypothetical, curiosity nothing more. the one that got away was when

i had invested 3k d3 ah proceeds into bitcoin when it was still 7 dollars per bit but either the bc site was taken down, or it was a scam site or seized maybe not sure.

the reason i couldnt follow up is even more complicated; obviously thats a multi million dollar implication entirely dependant on sell timing. Not good luck as you can see ;).

was COKEMX ingame druid pvp player known as mushroomzz aka c0kedup? or different guy?

edit: my guess is the dupers offered him duped versions as collateral too, because why not scam them unless you know they have much more leverage heh.

ps1 like twisted metal, crash bandicoot. some n64 goldeneye/mario tennis

gameboy pokemon yellow/silver

a lot of d2/wc3, with some sc1 sprinkled in

got into wc3 custom games (footmen frenzy, snipers, dota)

counter strike 1.6, source. zombie game, scoutz knives

xbox 360 - cod 4 modern warfare, gears of war, rainbow six vegas/vegas2

eventually got into wow when wrath game out. pugged raids, pvpd with friends

wow turned me into a complete degenerate, all nighters etc. stopped playing at cata, played once or twice during misc xpacs but nothing serious

never got into any serious raiding, didnt want to commit like that

dota 2 is prob the last game i played seriously. havent played it in about 10 years

i usually had people i played with. these days i dont play shit. never anything i can really get into, or want to commit to. i tried playing ac valhlla, think im like 90% completed but kind fizzled out. i mightve just liked early blizz games tbh

games and how theyre made these days are just different. if they made like a wc4 id prob play, but i bet they wont. and if they did, it would prob suck. also not really same incentive for companies to make rts games anymore. that and wow fucked up the wc universe storyline

like a some guy said: RTS is a Dead genre, costly development, high competition, no new ideas. One single mount in wow made more profit than whole sc2.

I'm not sure was so long ago I only remember him as cokemx I met him after he scammed it cuz he would brag to everyone about owning it. Rare we get to talk about old d2 pvp lore not many people are still here
now that i think about it more i think he was mushroomzz i could be wrong tho so many changed names after scamming sprees
