I’m not here to say one side is better than the other, as there are shitty people on both sides, but I was reading earlier that something like 75% of political violence is done by the right.
You read wrong. The ADL's numbers are fraudulent.
Their HEAT map of 'political violence' is completely skewed because it:
- Labels left-wing terrorism as right-wing terrorism
- Labels islamic terrorism as right-wing terrorism
- Labels non-politically/religiously motivated mundane domestic violence as terrorism
- Completely fails to list significant left-wing terrorist attacks
Their methodology is so shit you can simply click on random data points in their map and see obvious examples of non-political violence

A car chase ensued when police arrived on the scene; according to authorities, Cole crashed his vehicle into another vehicle, killing one of its occupants and seriously injuring two others.
fake data point used to inflate numbers and launder disinformation through the media. Its a criminal car crash by someone in a child custody dispute

On August 29, 2024, Corey Cobb-Bey, a sovereign citizen and Moorish Science Temple adherent, pulled his vehicle near a parked police cruiser, then got out and approached the officer sitting in the cruiser. After a brief discussion, Cobb-Bey pulled out a gun and shot the officer at point-blank range, killing him.
Moorish Science Temple is a far-left group and here they are trying to pass off black identity extremists as right-wing
or here's another example of the same thing:

Markese D. Lampley, aka Mileage Galor Bey, allegedly shot and killed the manager of a fast food restaurant outside Edinboro, Pennsylvania, during an attempted robbery. In court appearances following his arrest, Lampley claimed to be a sovereign citizen and that the court system had no jurisdiction over him.
