Can you make a hearty soup from scratch?
I need to learn how. Usually, I start with a soup base. So, I've never made a pot of soup that is hearty from scratch.

Well tbh I always used soup cubes even when I cut all vegetables and meat by myself.

My gf does it all without cubes

I start with brown butter and garlic.
Brown your meat in it.
Once done, add your liquid base and veggies of your choosing.
Slow simmer till done.
Wuz ez

It's the only soup I know.

My coworker gave me some soup that looked like that. It was fking amazing

not a big fan of soup
when my dogs had puppies i put chicken and beef broth in a blender with puppy kibble in the transition from milk to solids
i mostly try to drain out the liquids in foods for myself tho

Have you ever had authentic onion soup? Within the soup, it has cheese curds, bread, and melted cheese on top all served in a wonderful clay or porcelain bowl.
Please, try one if you have not. Look for authentic Québec or French little restaurants, like the mom and pop kind. They make it fresh. You may have an religious experience!

Why do you need to learn how? Are you moving to some 3rd world country without grocery stores?
