vid legit or not?
he let go of the bat or did he let go of the bat with some downward momentum but if he let the bat go with some downward momentum why didnt the bat bounce just a little bit?
Comedian Shuler King - So The Bat Did't Float
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mv1kJbo2HckI think that any desire to scrutinize something is one of our strengths and not a weakness. So,
exploring the video has value. I had to find examples of the baseball event. One is the original where we are shown a tiny bit more video area and of the white bat not dropping completely, but either bouncing or gently floating the tiniest amount away.
Here is the original. Please, take note of the white bat at the very left, after he's "dropped" it. Though a small amount, the bat does begin to randomly float. I wish we had a longer shot. You can see the black taped part lifting. But, I'd say it is not enough to bet my house on it.
Here is a second instance where a flashlight is used instead of white tube-like bat with black tape or paint:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNlPl-siVC8One of things which challenged me while reading up on the ISS is that it is not zero g. That is constantly in a state of falling, but its speed and trajectory constantly places in in orbit again.
Quote
The ISS is always falling! Yet it never crashes to Earth or burns up in our atmosphere. How is this possible? It sounds miraculous, but it is not a paradox or magic, simply the result of good old fashioned physics. It all comes down to the International Space Station's orbital velocity, its height above the ground, and the rate at which it is falling under gravity.
https://www.space.com/space-exploration/international-space-station/space-mysteries-how-does-the-iss-stay-in-orbit-without-falling-to-earthI am not claiming that there are no lies told by organizations and/or by governments. But, some things are kind of the laws of nature and that only a "miracle" would circumvent them.
