That's like saying you like suicide squad better than batman the animated series.
Anyone that thinks that or can even say it with a straight face belongs in Arkham.

It's not really comparable at all! The animated series was written and created by completely different people than Suicide Squad, just like the comic books also are - which are arguably the most important source any one should consider

Honestly if you're basing Harley Quinn off of motion pictures work, the new Harley Quinn animated series is top tier

No, what you don't understand is they didn't make Harley and found someone to play her.
Harley was designed after made specifically for one actress only.
So any interpenetration that isn't based off the actress Harley was made from is wrong in premise and design.
That actress was Arleen Sorkin and if she didn't exist, Harley wouldn't either.
I can even show you the footage she acted in on a soap opera that gave them the idea for Harley in the 1st place.
