I'd like to argue with you but unfortunately I already agree with most of what you say. However there are certainly many moderates in every religion. A lot of other ideologies can get propagandized and turned into a us vs them narrative. The soviets were hardcore atheists and look at what they did. Some of the largest famines and deportations were carried out under their rule. The religious were heavily ridiculed.
That's communism. Which is just disguised dictatorship.
And as you know dictators irrespective if they are religious or non religious do the most harm period.
If Stalin or Mao were religious they would of wiped out even more people imo.
