Even the participants from US, Canada and YK are "Chinese".

The stereotypes are real..East Asians just want to play piano, violin and do math.

Yes I play the Piano and do math. That is true.

If stereotypes weren't real, they wouldn't be stereotypes at all.

I'm not one afraid of 'cultural appropriation' - it is being used as it is meant to be and more people involved will bring more innovation.

Yea theres definitely more Asians, but music has a tendency to change and allow for almost anyone or any peoples to influence it and itll change more dynamically than most other arts. Visual medias like painting are alot more spiffy and you either need to be rich and famous already or you need to be part of the group you're aiming for. Music really isnt like that and people will only like you if you sound good.

This week its asians, next week itll be something else.

im sure you will find it

Something to consider is that if you 'cherry pick' the best examples it doesn't paint the whole picture.

The problem is, that i'm trying to point out.
There is a lot of shit mimic music and product.

I get it, you're proud of , I assume, your people.
But real talent, professional talent, takes years of honing their skill.

What has race got to do with this , I am just pointing out why are there so many East Asians in the competition. And I am playing on the stereotype that maybe what you said in the West that East Asians are only interested in Piano , Violin and Math which I thought isn't true.
And this year Chopin's competition , I went oh shit, maybe you guys were right all along.

What has race got to do with this:

I agree, we are only 1 race. HUMAN RACE

But that's not what you meant, and I understand but don't agree with communism.

e: I fucking hate communism, and the mods know it.
