I’ve seen it. Democrats in the 2020 primary (and all politicians usually in primaries) spouted a bunch of stupid ass ideas trying to out extreme each other. Things such as reparations, decriminalizing the border, etc. They’ve basically all walked that back these days. Presenting that as the current Democratic Party platform that 100% of democrats advocate for is dishonest as shit. ^Goomshill knows that and that’s why he does it. Distort and misinform is his modus operandi on PARD these days.

It was the the democratic primary, a national audience and the most representative expression of the democratic leadership's policy platform that there is.
There's no better place to gauge their ideas than when its put on TV in front of millions of Americans and they're asked directly about it.
It wasn't a debate, there was no dissenting opinion, not even a kooky fringe candidate like Ron Paul did for the GOP. Every single candidate, progressive and neoliberal alike, was in agreement that illegal aliens should get taxpayer funded healthcare.
And if anything, their opinions have gotten MORE extreme since then. Now they don't even support deporting illegal aliens that have already gotten a final deportation order. Top democrats will fly overseas to advocate on behalf of a guy who's a child rapist and murderer and MS13 member.

Seriously what is your argument here, that democrats don't believe in the policies that they say they believe, that their base supports, that they formally declare to be the party's policy platform?
"just a bunch of stupid ass ideas to trying to out extreme each other"? Every single democrat raised their hand, even joe 'deporter-in-chief' biden

That democrats have been pretty clear that’s not their parties position. Which you know, ignore, and push forward anyways because it’s not the narrative you want to sell.

Anyways I give up. You can continue your constantly parade of misinformation and distortion fact check free I guess. At some point I guess you just throw up your hands.

I've seen people make dumb No True Scotsman arguments on PARD before but I'm not sure I've seen someone try it when a Scotsman is proudly announcing to the world in front of a stage of millions that he's a true scotsman and declaring it as his formal, published position. While wearing a kilt and playing the bagpipes and stuffing his gullet with haggis.

The entire democratic party agreed to give taxpayer and premium-payer funded healthcare to illegal aliens as a condition of their healthcare reform proposals and they were explicit on exactly this point.
Kamala Harris personally sponsored a bill in the senate to put illegal aliens on a "Medicare-for-all" plan.

You don't have an argument, you're just doing the shaggy routine and saying it aint true

Literally go look at all current evidence. The vast majority of democratic politicians are saying they don’t support this position these days.

Once again. You know this. And yet you push forward because misrepresenting on pard is you thing.

If you wanna argue their inconsistency is concerning (insert other adjective here) that’s totally fair. There are quite a few instances where you can bring up comments from 5-10years ago for both parties and try and use it to misrepresent where those parties stand today. It doesn’t mean it’s not a misrepresentation still.

It would 100% change while in office. It's why they have been trying to get as many millions into the country as possible.

The democrats are genuinely after keeping illegals in this country. They are continuing to fight against the Republicans on the removal of them throughout the country.

Again, (actions speak louder than words).

If you truly trust what a politician says out loud then you're just blind.

While I agree that politicians lie. Your argument basically boils down to believe what they say when I don’t like it. Don’t believe what they say when I like it (only applies to the other team thiugh)

That’s not from 5-10 years ago, that’s the most recent candidate proving you wrong just before last election. Maybe some are backpedalling because they need to win midterms, but overall you come off as very naive.

That debate was in the lead up to the 2020 election.

I’m not sure how a video from 5 years ago isn’t actually 5 years ago. But if acknowledging that math is correct makes me naive… guilty as charged.

So are you saying that was NOT Kamala Harris’ position last election and that the next candidates won’t answer the same to the question of healthcare for illegals?

Considering Kamala had conviction of a damp rock and would do whatever she thought would be popular I’m gonna guess no. Because the position is not popular at the moment.
