I’ve seen it. Democrats in the 2020 primary (and all politicians usually in primaries) spouted a bunch of stupid ass ideas trying to out extreme each other. Things such as reparations, decriminalizing the border, etc. They’ve basically all walked that back these days. Presenting that as the current Democratic Party platform that 100% of democrats advocate for is dishonest as shit. ^Goomshill knows that and that’s why he does it. Distort and misinform is his modus operandi on PARD these days.
It was the the democratic primary, a national audience and the most representative expression of the democratic leadership's policy platform that there is.
There's no better place to gauge their ideas than when its put on TV in front of millions of Americans and they're asked directly about it.
It wasn't a debate, there was no dissenting opinion, not even a kooky fringe candidate like Ron Paul did for the GOP. Every single candidate, progressive and neoliberal alike, was in agreement that illegal aliens should get taxpayer funded healthcare.
And if anything, their opinions have gotten MORE extreme since then. Now they don't even support deporting illegal aliens that have already gotten a final deportation order. Top democrats will fly overseas to advocate on behalf of a guy who's a child rapist and murderer and MS13 member.
Seriously what is your argument here, that democrats don't believe in the policies that they say they believe, that their base supports, that they formally declare to be the party's policy platform?
"just a bunch of stupid ass ideas to trying to out extreme each other"? Every single democrat raised their hand, even joe 'deporter-in-chief' biden
