You’re mixing up history with morality.
Israel didn’t take land from Palestinians in 1967, it took it from Jordan and Egypt, who grabbed it back in 1948.
There was no Palestinian state then, and those same Arab countries used the area to launch attacks instead of accepting peace.
About the hostage deal, Israel already agreed. Now everyone’s waiting for Hamas, the group that butchered civilians and still holds hostages, to actually follow through.
Israel doesn’t need some “excuse” to defend itself, Hamas started this war the second it crossed the border and murdered families.
I'm mixing up history and morality? What does that even mean?

Now can you answer me this: If a country has a secret nuclear arsenal, is known for assassinations of foreign citizens suspected of crimes, embraces torture, kidnaps women and children, starves people in captivity, illegally forces people and families from their homes. Would you classify such a society as "the good guys"?
Not to mention war crimes since 1948 until present day and accussations of genocide.
Face it. Israel is and have been now, for a long time, the bad guys. If you disagree i would love to hear you arguments on why torture prisons is necessary? Kidnapping of women and children? Starving people in captivity? What does a morally good society do this for? Please make an argument for illegal settlemtents in West Bank? Please advise why it's good Israel runs an apartheid state?
