The spade looks cheap, low quality design. Ladder a little thin but need to see it opened up as it appears to be a roof ladder. Which are no good for hedge cutting as you need foldable free standing ladder for that.

Ladders are super important so is a quality shovel. Quality tools in general.

You do not cut corners when it comes to tools.

No you do not. Also I am disappointed he doesnt know the bar on his chain. Probably some battery powered home depot chainsaw.
