From what we have seen in Bucha its still the case for Russia government.
Obviously not all Russians are bad, they just follow orders from Kremlin and there are bad guys at Kremlin.
You cannot not follow the orders in Russia. Do you know what they do to people that dont follow orders?
They mobilize them into army, and often send to the frontline.
Both problems solved in one move. Smart guys at Kremlin, gotta admit that.

Both Stalin and Hitler were a-holes. Eberyting ironfister wrote is true and happened in soviet Russia under Stalin. Stalin and Mao were worse the Hitler in some way. They managed to kill millions of their own people during peace times with other countries.

Yet they claim the Germans are now good guys because WW2 happened a long time ago but Russians are still bad. Can you explain this?

as i undersand it, its not that ww2 happened a long time ago, its because germany has the label "goody" or "ally" and russia does not. so we skip over "historic slights" from germany and hone in on "horrific history" from russia.

thats my understanding of the ideology.
