Stumbled upon a mass shooting True Crime vid titled "Cops hunt down Arkansas mass killer". The tragedy happened in June of 2024.
Some dude with a shotgun and what looks like a belt filled with shotgun shells went into a large grocery store and just opened fire. Most of the people in the store were elderly or moms. If there is a hell, I hope that it keeps a special place for this perp.

I am not looking for answers. All I hope for is that innocent people are not made victims due to the whims of someone who wants to end the lives of others. :cry:

To the survivors and to the families who lost their loved ones, may you have what you need to find peace and/or to heal.

shitty thing is thats its common now and doesnt get the news coverage that you would think.

Agreed. I would hope that our news would at the very least cover the survivors and the grieving families. Many people who have huge hearts and the means may wish to reach out to these families. I do not need to know anything about the shooter. But, it is important for our world not to abandon those who are grieving/struggling with their losses and/or experiences. :hug:

It's crazy to think about! I was actually just talking to an ai about this! The ai was telling me that a lot of the reason they do this is so they can be remembered for something! Now in my time, I remember a lot of mass shootings and school shootings! But I can't tell you a single name of the actual shooters that did these things! I doubt most people remember the shooters! Their hearts usually gravitate towards the victims! What people do remember of the shooters is usually disgust! :)

the big news networks only care about clicks now.

nobody clicks on those stories anymore. too common.

horrible but true. the only way to try to counter it is contribute to small news networks. not enough people give a shit so the small ones are mostly bankrupt. and now im mad at you for making me think bout this when im here for shitposting.
