My first impression is it looks good, but am wondering why not use fresh sourdough.
Good for at home, but would get destroyed in a competition just from bread choice alone.

Tell me you used mayonnaise instead of butter to crisp it and I'll praise it even more.

I just used regular white bread, mayonnaise on the inside, butter on the outside. Colby & Monterrey jack cheese!

It was my first ever grilled cheese if you can believe that one 😅
