a temp solution to view the images is also to reupload the images you're interested in by their imgur url to another site that accepts urls as the source.
using a VPN on jsp may get you banned so be careful.

I feel really bad for people in the UK.

I don't know about jsp. But blizzard will ban you instantly if you play d2 with a vpn. So be careful.

I'm making a simple chrome extension that reuploads and automatically replaces imgur embeds so that they will load despite the gelocation ban.
I will just have to ask the admins if i'm allowed to share it once it's on the chrome store. i'll of course be more than happy to provide the soruce code so that people can look at it and then manually add it to chrome.

Otherwise, if you guys have any coding experience yourselves, the ideal solution would be to create your own extension that reuploads imgur urls and automatically replaces those embeds in the DOM.
This is safer and wont risk your D2 or JSP accounts.

-> scan page for imgur images -> reupload them by their url to another image host through an API-> replace imgur url(s) in the DOM with the new urls and cache the stored new URLS for faster loading next time you load the page.

But the problem is that the best server to host images, by FAR, it's imgur. The rest are really bad or have very limited bandwidth use.

I understand that, but at least this solves the biggest issue of being unable to actually load images hosted at imgur.
When it comes to uploading, try https://freeimage.host it has a free API for the extension project that supports reuploading by url.

https://postimages.org/ also works well, and supports pasting from clipboard.
