The war department does appear to be achieving their goals though. Enrollment in 2024 was up 12.5% from 2023, and 2025 projected to exceed 2024 numbers.

They might be up overall on enrollment, but it doesn't mean enlistment. Hell, I myself was going to serve, the day I was shipping off to basic, after spending 6 months in LDAP, they told me I couldn't go cause I went to the emergency room between choosing my MOS and swearing in the 2st time. It's not just obesity and criminal records.
