Great news comrades! President Sanders has announced the biggest step in living memory to nationalizing the healthcare industry, the first time you can buy your prescription drugs directly from the federal government in cash, sidestepping the entire public and private insurance industry as well as giving the reduced drug prices to those on medicare and medicaid. Through partnership with Pfizer, you'll be able to lower drug prices by 100-300% or more and simply log onto the new government website, BernieRX and buy your drugs without paying a monthly premium.
As White House spokeswoman Symone Sanders-Townshend had to say:

“While Republicans are threatening to shut down the federal government to cut health care for illegal aliens, President Sanders is leveraging the power of the federal government to drastically cut drug prices for everyday Americans. Republicans talked the talk for decades about drug prices, but only President Sanders is actually walking the walk.”

Socialism marches gloriously onwards!

Clearly Trump messed up by not simultaneously launching a 2nd website to buy firearms directly from the federal government instead of just having state/local seized property auctions, as well as a 3rd website to buy miniature american flags from the feds (made in China)
With TrumpRx, TrumpArms and TrumpFlag we could have eliminated income tax and moved back to the feds being paid entirely on tariffs and tobacco sales to indians

I'd love if they just taxed everyone a little to cover emergency healthcare and medications for every legal US citizen.

But UnitedHealthCare already embezzle billions of money the government gives them to manage Medicare and Medicaid
Couldn't trust them with more money for shit

Oh yes, I’d love to spend more tax money on lazy leeches. Sign me up!

Why do socialists believe they’re entitled to other peoples belongings?

Why would you expect other people to pay for your personal expenses?

I have never felt entitled to someone like Elon’s money for example. Yeah he has a lot of it, but it’s his.

UHC had a net profit margin of 3.74% in 2024, with $400 billion in revenue, $311b in benefits, $57b in operating expenses, $12b in non-operating expenses, $5b in taxes for $15b post-tax income.
Of that $400b income, $309b came from premiums, $50b from products, $36b from services, $5b investment. And of those $309b in premiums, well you'll have a hard time quantifying what % comes from taxpayer subsidized medicaid/medicare since its at state and federal level.

For contrast, Pfizer in 2024 had a profit margin of 16.84%, with their $64b income being spent on $30.9 operating expenses, only $10b of which is on their primary benefit in R&D, the rest in non operating/other expenses, and also they are taxed at a negative rate, receiving $1.1 billion from the feds.

Why wouldn't you? I wouldn't mind paying an extra 3-4 percent a year if my fellow man were better taken care of and I didn't have to worry about my savings account getting cleared out by a couple day ER visit.
The US Healthcare system accounts for like 18% of the GDP so I imagine 3-4 percent isn't that far off. I mean this is just for meds and ER visits; NOT for everything.

Tell us what you really think.

Gonna sound harsh but I don’t care about your health or your finances and I don’t feel like being responsible for them. A large portion of the USA is overweight and don’t even care about their own health, but somehow I’m expected to care?
